About our presenters

Dean is a Product Manager for Thermo Fisher Scientific passionate about the advancement of scientific instrumentation. Throughout his career, Dean has shown a special interest in sustainable quality improvements for the pharmaceutical industry. His prior roles include a quality control scientist and an analytical methods developer. Dean currently specializes in the development of portable Raman, Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR), and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) technologies.

Sergio is a Quality Specialist for Johnson & Johnson. In his current role, he leads the implementation of Raman spectroscopy and develops new analytical methods for his site. He also provides product and technology recommendations to other J&J locations for various applications throughout the company. Prior joining Johnson & Johnson, Sergio was an applications specialist in the medical diagnostics industry where he developed multiple automated immunoassays for clients worldwide.
