Monochromators

A monochromator is an optical device comprising prisms and reflectors that break light up into its spectral wavelengths so that one wavelength can be viewed or measured. The tool is extremely useful in determining the composition of a sample and for designing and testing optical systems to find out how energy will interact with the system.
